Local authorities, planners, and Housing Associations (HAs) are increasingly required to be experts in highly diverse subjects.

The UK government and the Mayor of London have set ambitious planning targets for sustainable development, energy efficiency, and renewable energy and rely on borough councils and HAs to help them achieve their goals.

Yet, the field of sustainability—and how to concretely apply it—is new and constantly evolving, and councillors, planners, and HAs may not have received sufficient information or adequate training for it.

“Sustainable Development & Eco-Building Training”

This innovative CPD course, suitable for all levels, has been designed to give local authorities, planners, and HAs a complete and methodical understanding of sustainable development.

The Course
12 modules, totalling 12 hours, cover both theoretical concepts and practical applications on cost-effective ways to minimize and mitigate the impacts of buildings and humans on the natural environment, health, and well-being throughout individual boroughs.

Alternatively, the modules can be undertaken in any combination, whether individually or as a group. The concepts can be applied borough-wide or to specific projects through environmentally-friendly policy, planning, and initiatives and through eco-building design and techniques.
